Commands Not Staying In Console?

hi all, i have a really poor gfx card (8mb) however a half decent cpu and ram (1200mhz & 256mb) obviously ns runs slowly and i checked the fps tweaks etc and they work fine ns becomes playable however wen i enter the commands in console they dont stay and i have to enter them everytime i open ns, i put them in my cfg and they still didnt stay, whats up?

nothing to do with ya pc, i've got 900mhz, 126mb 4mb gfx card and can push 30fps by putting my commands in cfgs

not at my computer... don't remember proper cfg name....

Try autoexec.xfg (though I think that was changed with Steam)

it might be user.cfg

though again, I am at aloss.

putting them in the propepr config (if is not config.cfg!) should do it.
