Spectating

<div class="IPBDescription">lag</div> I know when spectating marines, the spectator crosshair is a bit off from where the player is actually aiming, but what about aliens?

I noticed a certain player who is highly suspected of aimbotting would always use skulk with focus-celerity-leap. Said player would leap at marines from around the corner, then bite them at ranges that seemed impossibly far. I think he is using an auto-shoot aimbot for the bite which is biting for him at the exact moment the marine is in range. Or is it possible that the skulk body position lags behind in spectate?

When spectating you always see things from your lag perspective. So it may seem that someone's biting from ten feet away, but on their screen they appear to be right up close. Also their bullets may seem to come from one side or the other, because on their computer they're still there, while on yours they appear to have moved. In general, don't trust spectating too much, the lag causes a lot of weird effects you wouldn't otherwise have.

lol..i doubt there is an auto shoot aimbot for skulks. in fact its almost proof to me that a person doesnt hack if the go aliens and do very well..aimbotters needs guns too shoot.

this person was just skilled. leaping and biteing is not that hard all.it takes is practice and using hud_fastswitch 1 or lastinv command.

one maybe you'll be good enough to realize the foolishness of your h4xusations

Learn about what's out there. Yes there are autoshoot settings for aimbot. And yes they will work for any weapon.
