Error: No Visibile Brushes

Description: All brushes are CLIP or ORI
I had a compiled version of my map, but after doing some more work on it I tried compiling again and got an odd little error. I seem to remember reading about something like this in a bug report of the compile tools, but I don't remember what the fix was and can't seem to find the report. I should note, I am using clip brushes and my clip node count at my last compile was 98.2%, since the last compile version I added a few models, clip brushes, another wad file and a bit more volume to the map. Anyway, here is the compile log...

Have you checked out entity 344 to see if it is all clip brushes or origin's brushes? If it is, then move it to the world so it's not an entity.

Some other notes about your compile log:

-nomatrix and -sparse together? The first means the vismatrix won't be used for light compilation, the second means the vismatrix will be compressed during light compilation. Using them both at the same time isn't really possible, so you'll have to decide which one you like.

-dscale 3 with a -bounce of 1 is a rather odd combination. Increased brightness of direct lighting with rather low indirect lighting means areas that aren't directly lit will be almost pitch black. Are you sure that's the effect you're aiming for? -dscale 1 with bounce 1 (and higher light values) is a more common approach.

p12 is no longer the most recent version of the compile tools. If you're not using this version for a specific reason, I'd suggest getting the most recent version here.

You're saying clipnode count was already at 98.2% on a previous compile and you added stuff since then. Values at near full amounts can sometimes cause weirdness, so you should try being a bit lower, below 95% if possible. If you're not seeing any problems in the map that's OK of course, but generally try not to fill it up entirely.
For this specific situation, high clipnode count and appearantly exclusive use of CLIP brushes in func_walls, note that CLIP brushes placed in the world don't cut up other brushes and when properly shaped can actually lower the clipnode count (by simplifying it). The only reason to put a CLIP brush inside an entity is for moveable entities, like the tram in the HL SP start.

Oh, and about 5 posts down from this one, there's the exact same problem, with the error mentioned in the topic description. A little searching never hurts
