    I heard it's pretty good, but lacks depth. There's no PVP yet, and to get it you're probably going to need to buy the expansion, unless they add it for everyone. I hope you don't like crafting, because it doesn't have any. If you want a fun experience that's easy to get into, sure. But if you want something to suck your life away because it is so deep and has so many different things to experience, try something else. I hear. I haven't actually played it; just read some reviews.

    I'm the biggest CoH fanboy here.

    So I could be bit biased.

    Do you feel like being a lesser human being because you don't get Loot A in the game?

    There's no such thing as a must have loot. Unless you're going to be a min/max powergamer, chances are you will have a perfectly viable and original character without having to camp at dungeon B for mob C that have a chance to drop loot A.


    Do you hate how the economy is saturated in the MMORPG?

    There's no crafting and arguably no economy. There's no must have equipments.


    Do you hate it when real life keep you a week from the game, come back, and your pals is level 50, and your character can't play with em?

    There's Sidekick system. As long as you became a sidekick, your character got a boost. There's no rush to level as fast as possible


    Some people argue that there's nothing to do. Me? I played 1-3 hours a day max. I got bored if I play more than that. I took care of my real life, then a day later, I got the urge to log on again.

    Another point is that, there's no pvp. But all MMORPG is based on stats, not skills anyway. I'd rather play online FPS if I want PVP.

    The stuff they're adding is really sweet too. If you wait a bit longer, you'll be able to jump in where there's more content. Capes and flowing cloth stuff should be coming in August.

    EDIT: Oh, and yes to your question, IMHO. I really am enjoying the game, for the most part.

    I admit I am getting <b>very</b> sick of it. However, this is not because I'm sick of the specific features City of Heroes has - it's because I'm getting sick of MMO's in general. They just take too much time to get anything done . . . but I digress. If you're convinced that you have enough time for an MMO, give it a whirl. It's the best of the genre that I've yet played.

    You can play on any of the servers. You aren't locked to only one, and you get eight characters PER SERVER. This, obviously, leaves you with a lot of stuff that can be done. A LOT.

    Check the 'Squad Five' thread stickied at the top of this forum for details on an NS-themed group.

    And yes.. it's definitely worth playing. Unfortunately I don't have the cash at the moment to pay the monthly fee, or I'd probably be in-game right now. :b

    Yes, it does get repetitive at times, but when you're playing in a group, its lots of fun.

    Only thing is, your characters are <b>not</b> interchangeable among servers.

    I just hope you don't live in Europe like me or you'll be waiting till midnight to get a decent chance of getting a group together, since ALL the servers are U.S time.

    This also means there is no admin support in the times when Europe is awake, and instead of there being a single server crowded with the european folks in Europe prime-time there are 10 (i think) with everyone all spread out.

    On the plus side that DOES mean less lag.

    afaik squad five is dead, last time i checked, none of the members had logged on for aprox 40 days... so i quited the squad... such a shame...

    i like it, but yea it gets repeativ sometimes, but it's still my favorite mmorpg.


    and they give you a free update every 2 months or so, containing new stuff, the first one contained 2 new areas, 3 new sorts of enemys, more costume stuff ( no capes still though <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo--> ), the ability to change your costume ingame if you feel your first one is getting old and some other stuff properbly that i can't remember..
