I Want To Make A Map How Do I Get Started

<div class="IPBDescription">I just need a push in the right directio</div> hey people, I love NS and I want to give something back to the community... so I thought I'd make a map and even tho it'll probably never be played at any servers or anything I'd still just like to make one

so where do I get started as far as getting to program to make the map?

    I cant understand, why the admins dont flip both forums, so the first forum the people will post in is the "newbie"-forum. I cant understand this, it would make things MUCH easier.

    see now that guy was usefull the rest of you just sat around and **** yoru pants in angered, but he helped me out, sure it might have been a dumb question but you guys gave even dumber answers

    The silly part is, he did this exact same thing in General Discussion. And didn't learn his lesson when referred to the Mapping area, such as looking around before posting. :b
