Yup. Just make sure you've got 128 cubic units of free space around it or something (maybe it's already 128 large in WC... then just make sure nothing's inside of it.)

so what does this thing do anyway?  is there an article on it?  if there is, i have not seen it, so can someone please direct me somewhere?

And the func_resource starts out as this little nozzle that you can build a machine/growth on top of. It gives you resources.
