Voice communication

I'm reading through the manual and I have a question. It says that the commanders can 'talk' to the troops, and I assume this is through Half-lifes voice comm. However, I was curious if Marines can talk to other marines, only marines in their squad, or everyone including the Commander. Also, do the aliens get voice comm as well?

ALiens get voice comm too
1 - commander (requests)
2 - marines (discussing the commanders performance >: ) )
3 - commander + marines (alerting of possible enemy attacks where they're breaking throught et cetera
or even a private voice chat to a single person or group of ppl on ur team
Like say +voicecomm1 would be to just marines, +voicecomm2 to marines + commander
The answer is sort of. Laying down waypoints or telling marines to build something makes a radio signal to them saying things like: 'build structure at waypoint'. If that's what you mean. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->
"JOHNNY FADE ON YOUR6 LARRY ON YOUR LEFT LOOKOUT BEHIND THAT ROCK CHECK THAT VENT OMG THEY'RE ALL AROUND US *gunfuregunfire*"
Also, if Im talking and the Commander starts to talk, will his voice go over mine?
That means each team has their own, however no one can talk louder then anyone else.
Perhaps in version 1.1
