New texture links for quark.
The ns_tex.qrk file hasn't been updated to NSTR2, leaving out many new textures and including some textures that no longer exist.
An updated version is attached to this post for all QuArK mappers out there. All three of 'em
I'm currently also converting all sample maps to a structered .qrk file, but don't have too much time right now. Should be finished in a week or two.
Click on this link, unzip and forget about the renaming.

Thanks. Just a little browsing for Wolf pictures, creating a square mask, cropping the image to mask and resampling to 64x64 wasn't much effort to get something people will recognize me by.
Especially usefull since I'm not exactly a frequent poster.
what's a .qrk file? I know its for Quark, but what is in it?
The .qrk format is the format QuArK uses for storing all sorts of information. It can contain stuff like entity support, texture links (dynamic or organized), game context and most frequently maps. In this case it only contains organised texture links, so QuArK users editing for NS have all standard textures neatly grouped in folders like "walls" or "gadgets".
I was just working on a new one (Flayra, I didn't know there were new textures; could've guessed though yes, but still... GAH!). Ah well, at least now I won't have to finish the other 50%. Though I did do some reorganizing.
