On my server we play ns like a 3d chess game, learning how to win. You need a cool head to do that. The swear filter will help the players with that.

Edit: There's a swear filter built into adminmod, simply edit words.ini to your needs.
Funny thing, ever since i have been checking for swearing, i have been noticing how bad the quality of speech is on ns. I really look forward to any game that can improve the speech so that its clear. Imagine that?

If your admins are breaking the rules you need a new bath of admins.

Programs such as this exist. They run outside of NS and allow people to comunicate whilst playing NS. The most popular ones are Ventrilo, Team Speak, Roger Wilco, and Game Voice Share. (Roughly in order of popularity.)
"Skype" is another program I use, but it's very high quality (>=telephone,) so is rather bandwidth intensive.
