Me: I am the bird monster now.

"Wow what's that cow thing?"

"Is this the 2nd or the 3rd level? Have you ever beaten this game?"

"Can you get in that chair thing?" Me: no, someone is already in it. "Can't you try?" Me: no, someone is already in it. "Will they ever come out?" Me: No. "Thats rude, he just stays in there so he won't get hurt!"

Me: Yes, I have to kill the cocoon

I imagine if I had this game at 6 years old, I would be crasy on it.
At 4 I could speak 2 languages, at 5 I knew the name of about 50 kinds of dinosaur, at 6 I was learning the basics of outer space...

So I could speak english, Dino is like onos, and space wow....
In the 80's space was soooo cool, lasers too!

But, maybe I could'nt speak with the mic, lol, a 6 years old commander with a girl's voice

Actually I was under the impression that this was his son (which it wasn't, thank god) and while his comments were fairly amusing it was odd having it appear in General Discussion about NS since it has nothing to do with the game itself and wasn't really anything you could discuss. This material is probably best suited for telling your friends/family or people you know on a server. Anyway, it doesn't matter that much to me.

Oh, Marineanimal, I thought that most of those quotes were histerical; good stuff!!! Kids can be so funny, and that's a particularly excellent example.

LOL maybe yer kid wants to try n play.

    I taught my 4yr old nephew to play NS,I picked a map,started game,built a base.

Then I told my nephew that's the commander's chair get inside by pressing "E" (I had to show him).I told him to click here n there, place this here etc (him asking there? this way?) it was funny. Then I told him to build the stuff I placed at the "LIVE" Hive "build the tf first then the big guns (seiges).I told him how to "logout" by pressing the big red logout sign in the corner of the screen.

Sometimes I'll show him how to play with bots etc.I think he likes the game lol.
My nephew asks me what are those? lol Me: those are resource towers they collect resources for the marine team to get upgrades, weapons etc.

personally I don't think NS is too violent for for little kids,I think the younger they start the better they can/will get in the future as they get older n keep playing.

besides also it could possibly get them into computer gaming, programming skills, get them ready for the world of computers when they get older, develop eye/hand coordination, know how to use a computer etc.

well not all of us are experienced NS people. The gun that fires 8 shots at once is good. The backpack witht the blue lights is even better. How do you get rid of the blue circle wall-hack?

I apologize for my off-topic responses. Here I go...

OMG LOLZ that kid = teh funny, I've said some similar things in my time does that mean I'm a child at heart?? Ok, this is my last post in here because although this is quite hilarious and the author is really cool this thread invites no discussion whatsoever (and is completely off-topic) except maybe a simple acknowledgement.

    I remember asking more english-language based questions when playing Super Nintendo RPG's at my 5th/6th... I'm Dutch but I knew fluent English by the time I was 8-10 <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

But yeah the little kid is funny.
