Problem With Fav Servers List

For some reason when i add a NS server to my steam favourite servers list, the next time i play its not on there and its really starting to annoy me, does anyone know why this is happening and how i can fix it?<!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo--><!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->??

    Hi Viroxide,

    I actually have the same problem and it annoys me too. I guess Steam has yet to fix that. It would be good that it actually works.

    That's happened for as long as I can remember with steam...

    just memorize the IP of the server, that's what I do

    Search steampowered.com forums for "steam favorites" and you should be able to find a solution on there. I think it has to do with deleting a file but I can't really remember.

    Yep they fixed this bug in one of the updates; but for some it remains... Close Steam... Open c:\Program Files\Steam\config... rename the <b>serverbrowser.vdf</b> file like backupserverbrowser.vdf (Though deleting it does the same job; I personally like keeping backups before I mass with Steam)

    As you start the Steam, it will create a new serverbrowser file which actually can keep the favorite servers data...
