Whenever i got to a certain amount of archers (i think it was 30 or something) it took them away at the end of the level, even if i could easily afford to keep them. So i just gave up because it was impossible to work with only 2 archers while still having to convert loads of people, take out the big stick people with demo men (archers didn't fire fast enough) and still try and build up my force of archers

I did, because i had about 10k points left over because i couldn't be bothered to fortify my walls and they weren't doing any damage (i was actually doing good for once). Maybe i've just been playing an older version or something.
By level 41 or so I had 1300 archers... I never even saw any enemies. A hundred carpenters took care of the damage that the occasional attacker did... And if I needed, say, another hundred archers? 200 wizards produce enough energy to convert nonstop... Sure, most of my points went to upkeep, but who cares when your walls are alread 750000 high? I never even bothered with demomen.
I intend to get a 7-figure bodycount, for the heck of it.
Amazing how the game plays itself other than converting though.
EDIT : Damn, I forgot that a million is 7 digits, not 6
Actually no, about 1 out of every 8 get to my castle before they get killed, but they die shortly after they reach it I just dont feel like trying to catch more guys with the convert spell before they are killed by the archers
Yea they must of updated it cus when I played and got level 30+ it didnt show hp on the side... and I just clicked there demo men and they went boom, lmao
I played this game, it's pretty fun. Only thing that i hate is the upkeep cost and deciding whether to get wizards or carpenters first. The only question I have is, are archers even good? When I get plenty of 'em, they don't seem to help much.

A real fun one; best of the best in my opinion. XGen studios is solid gold.

it totally ruins the gaming experience.
I want to play the same save on multiple computers.
