Hi recently i have signed up for the constie icon, the paypal payment was approved the same day. At the sticky it says that the activation takes up to one moth, or a few days if i have received a payment confirmation (my case). 2 Weeks have passed and nothing happened yet so my questions are;

- Will i receive a confirmation letter from NS staff/Flayra or the payment confirmation is the final letter i will receive ?

- Is there a console command to activate the icon (mp_uplink 1 i heard ?) or it activates itself everytime i log in ?

- I have provided my steam id in the paypal during the payment in "additional information section" was it the right place to put my steam id ?

i'd give it another week or 2, flay has just recently moved to SanFran area i believe, and on top of that he has all of his regular work to do too, if you dont here from him, you can always email him, just asking to make sure that he received it. Actually, Flayra personally sends each acceptance e-mail himself, so it could be another month or so before you get your icon. However, getting an e-mail from the mighty Flayra himself - addressing you by your first name - makes up for <u>any</u> delay.

You won't need to enter any commands in for your icon to show; if the server supports them (and 98% do) it will show up automatically, displaying your generous heart and thinned-out wallet automatically. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Also keeping in mind beta 5 is due to be released very soon, I'd relax a wee bit.

Your icon will come, in the meantime you have the respect and appreciation of the staff and fellow players for donating..

And yes, Flayra will give you your own email addressed to you.... which is a nice touch.

I'm not joking. I respect Flayra to the utmost; for his vision of NS, his programming capabilities, his creation of UWE - all of it. Where some people might go nuts if they got a letter from an actor or politician, I went nuts when Flayra's e-mail adressed me by name.

I know you might not like this answer but you just need to be patient and wait. When I donated I got my constie symbol and the email within 20 minutes, which made me really really lucky. One of my friend's took like 3 or 4 weeks to process... But since Flayra finally finished moving over to SanFrancisco, you'll maybe recieve the email in the next week or so. Maybe.
