Amd Processor Fans....none Exist For 939 Pin!
<div class="IPBDescription">will 940 fit?</div> im genna buy a 939 socket AMD processor however i cannot find any fans that will fit it... i am finding lots of 940 PIN ones....now ive researched and the only physical difference in the processors is the 1 PIN so im assuming that a fan designed for 940 will work on a 939.... if anyone bothers to look this up im trying to get a silent fan (just to make it that bit harder <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> ). the processor is the AMD Athlon FX53 (Socket 939) - Retail (CP-089-AM).
Basically:
1. does a 940 processor fan fit on a 939 one?
2. where can i get some fans that will do the job?
