you can see the player using a computer (like a button) in the "forbidden" doom 3 video. it's not really like that but there's a window that pops up and disappears with animation IIRC.
When you go up to a computer, rather than showing like a menu pop up on your screen, it'll show it on the actual monitor polygons themselves, and when you get close your crosshairs turns into a mouse cursor and you can click stuff as if it were a windows app. Its very, very slick and imo DOOM 3's most underrated feature.
