Bleh, i thought it'd be something new. This trailer's been out for some time, you can get better speeds from either gametrailers of Konami USA.

A friend of mine from Japan is playing it right now - I've had to smack him a couple times to stop him from spoiling things.

So far so good - he says it "isn't as scary" as SH3, but then again, I'm not sure how easily he gets scared (if at all), so whatever. O_o; Other than that he seems to like it. Also, apparently the Japanese version is ENTIRELY IN ENGLISH, with Japanese subs. Which makes me wonder - are they making a lot of changes for the US version or something? ;.; Even as a fan translator, the teams I've worked with would have made short order of it, especially considering there's no dialogue you have to translate. :/

Also - weirdly enough, apparently there is at least one part (if not more) in first-person view. O_o???

And the soundtrack is GREAT. Like - I remember reading an interview with Yamaoka, and he mentioned how he was trying to evolve his music. SH2 wasn't really that listenable of an OST for me at all - but SH3, I would listen to a LOT (outside of the game). Sh4 ost is EVEN BETTER. It's still ambient and creepy, but somehow a lot more pleasant as far as general listening goes. That track from the original trailer, "Room of Angel" is on there. <3

Was it just me or did that one scene with the all the circular spinning blades in the floor look like the exact same contraption from the 13 Ghosts remake?

Yeah, I've got the SH4 OST, and while it's got many good tracks, I have two major gripes. One is that although she has an amazing voice, the female vocalist features on too many tracks; her voice becomes seemingly ordinary. Also, some tracks such as "Cradle of Forest" are sub-standard, at least to me.
