Er make sure you specified the right direction for the door to open in it's properties. If you tell it to move forward, it will only go it's own width foward. Make sure you move the radial to the door's left or right, or select up or down in the pull-down list.
I seem to be missing something. Oh yeah, SCREENSHOTS of "your map."

Can I just step in here for a second? the_stalker, you can correct me if I'm wrong, but I get the impression that you haven't had a whole lot of experience with mapping. If this is true (and don't take any offense if it is), then I have some suggestions for you:
Find some mapping tutorial sites, like Valve ERC, and just read up on some mapping techniques and practices. Also, don't try to jump into an NS map right away. You should start off with a simple deathmatch map, but keep the idea for your NS map in mind. Don't be upset if it's not that good. Your first few maps will probably be subpar, and that's OK, it's just the result of a learning experience. Then once you're really good you can go make that kick-### NS map.
ns_cargo is only the third map I have made with world craft.
