Bloodrayne.
<div class="IPBDescription">A simple, but incredibly fun game.</div> Just making a thread about game I've been playing - Bloodrayne. Basically it's a third person action game with an emphesis on fast-paced gameplay and melee with your gigantic arm-swords. You play a scantily clad, half-vampire woman whose out to save the world from a plague created by Nazis.
It sounds like the dumbest game ever, but it's so damned fun. The gameplay is repetitive, there's not many moves, and the gun selection isn't that great. Yet I find myself playing it for at least 40 minutes at a time, thinking it's too simple and I keep getting bored in 10 mins, just before I realize it's been 40+ minutes. Maybe it's the joy I get from hacking off a nazis arm, then sticking a knife-harpoon in his back as he runs away holding his bloody stump, pulling him back, then kicking him to the ground. Maybe it's the charm of going into a large battle and leaving your enemies limbs strewn about for 30 feet. Either way, this is a simple but incredibly fun 3rd person action game.
It's out for all consoles and PC, and costs like 15-30 dollars. Just pick it up and try it.

Don't feel bad, though. I just got Eternal Darkness like two months ago, and Half-Life maybe a year before that.
Infact, BR is so old I remember watching a trailer before my first of 6 bannings from the Firearms forums!
happy 500 testament!
I also got a friend working on it! (LPlasma from Desert Crisis now works there)
