Connection Problem

<div class="IPBDescription">Steam won't connect...</div> I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I played fine yesterday and before, but today, when I tried to connect, it brought up the "Steam Updating" screen with the progress metre. The metre doesn't move at all, then it brings up the Connecting Account screen. Then it gives me the error that I'm either not connected to the internet or it's not configured for Steam. WTH? Any clues?

EDIT: Just saw a thread in the GF about this issue. Seems Steam is updating something and everyone is having this problem.

    LittleToe... try a restart

or do control+alt+delete and search for steam.exe and end that process (if you have windows XP)
