marine(small team (3players))
So her is the situation: I dont thing I am a NS noob i have played the game almost from
day one. But the promblem is it was in a closed enviroment(lausy interenet connection). With a couble of other NS freaks. We dont play the game a lot, intesivly. But there are days when we say **** it, bring our six comps together and play over LAN from 12to12(today was that kind of a day). In the hole day the Marines won one game and one tie(NS mode). The games were played 3vs3. Can you give me some edvise how the commander should leed such a small game(what to reaserch, where to send marines, how to defend reasorces, any advise you could think of to leed to a marine win).
A foward thanks from Borna Zarak, and a couple of more NS fans from Croatia.

Large games require extreme agressive play from aliens to win before marines out-tech them.
In your situation, just go to the hive and cap resources along the way. Give medpacks to drive off skulk attacks along the way. Set up cc, two ips outside the hive, armory, mines in case skulks somehow manage to take down your 2 marines, and an observatory (crucial if there are sensory chambers, so listen for gorges dropping chambers right at the start of the game for an indication/hint). Hop out of the chair, kill any skulk(s) chewing on your base res node. Run over to the hive or suicide, whichever is more convenient. Once you're set up outside the hive:
a) spawncamp
b) siege
c) combination of the above
You should see if any aliens are operating outside the hive, which probably means a gorge building a second hive. If any alien is unaccounted for, you want to finish the first hive as soon as possible. Otherwise, take your time.. but pretty much the same outcome: quick wins.
Ill give you an example of 2 wins out of 2 which i did on nothing... once the hive was silo and once it was cargo... both times i relocated into viaduct (on the right corner at the top and not down where the rt is) and won them both after sending the better marine to the clear hive to defend till the pg is up...
I dunno if it will work when hive is the middle one, and you relocate to a side hive... but it is better to have 1 hive, then to face 3 hives.
Allways think about where to relo and how. Depending on ways of attack, vents and such.
I usally drop down cc, 1 ip, 1 armory, 1 rt and a obs right away when i relo...
try it :O
during this time, I'm building the base, rushing jet pack, find the hive, build a cc close.
Do at least armor 2, weapons 3...maybe mt.
Team up 3 jp, one shotty, one hmg, one gl (aliens have lotsa res, less ground coverange=more buildings)
Then...well it depends. Anything can happen, but my strat won a couple times in small 3 vs 3 games.
To be honest, unless your marines suck a fair amount, you actually have a strong advantage in a 3v3 situation - but only if you capitalize on the earlygame. You'll be utterly dependant on attacking immediately - either by dropping ~3 nodes and hunting their now helpless gorges (if they're trying to drop nodes at all) while building those nodes alongside, or by attacking the Hive RT with 2 early shotgunners. 2 reasonable shotgunners should be able to take care of 3 skulks and kill the node with some meds - and if they put up one, or even two nodes, the attack on the hivenode is a cakewalk.
The main problems you have are a lack of manpower due to the commander being in the chair - hence the commander has to be dedicated basebitch at the same time, meaning jumping out pre-emptively when something approaches base. So build your IP as far from the chair as you can, and if you're new to doing that sort of thing either lay some mines around the IP or use an obs as your primary tech building (MT or PG rushing, who cares. Its the static scan area thats going to save your **** repeatedly from skulkrushes).
Generally its not hard to figure out. Don't listen to the pub-tarts here - relocating in a 3v3 is extremely silly, unless you're going to do it right infront of their hive (only maintenance hive on eclipse is really ideal for that :/ ). The fact that they as well suffer manpower problems should they try to putup additional nodes (not enough skulks to defend and/or chew nodes you block), or be extremely vulnerable (1 resnode - kill that and they have absolute 0 income) is your teams biggest asset. Don't pass up on it, every game has its deciding moments within the first 4 minutes.
