Do NOTHING

Christ stop sticking stuff in your ears thats not good.

If your really worried about it use water or see a doctor. Just don't put anything in your ears.

You can have someone shoot a waterbeam in you ear, then wait a day or so and the wax will come out.

Or you hold you head under a watertap so your ear gets flooded, will do the same I think.

Go see a doctor. If ear drops did not work then it might not be wax at all but rather an infection. Infections are serious things as if left untreated(mistreated) they can result in permanent hearing loss.

Please go to a doctor.

Wow, what is it with you people racing to the emergency room every time someone stubs their toe?

Caboose, get yourself an electric heating pad and rest your head against it for an hour or so. The heat will soften the wax and most will drain on its own. Then a little clean up with a q-tip and you're good to go.

You need a medic. Stat.
Don't try to play all like "ow emm gee I can save myself!", just go and see a doctor. At least HE knows what he's doing

I don't think a doctor is necisarry ATM. If doctors were bothered every time someones ear was clogged with wax... I think they'd kill themselves, and then we would have no doctors. I think I'll try the explosives thing, I have some black cats laying around, just stick one of those puppies in my ear and...

I have a metal tubey thingamajig here, someone told me it's some sort of folk remedy, I think they called it a gun....just insert in your ear, pull the handy lever, and voila, no more ear wax!

I tryed the explosives, now I can hear, but only this odd ringing sound, and most of my ear is on the ceiling... I think I'll skip 5kyh16h91's remidies from now on...

The reason I suggested the doctor, was that I had a friend in school who complained that he had wax in his ear that was clogging it. The next day his eardrum was ruptured due to the infection he thought was wax.

Don't worry about bothering a doctor, when they see your money they forget all about the being bothered part.

It sounds like an ear infection to me, too. They can get pretty nasty...
• dr_ddr_d Join Date: 2003-03-28 Member: 14979Members
An ear infection usually involves pain, and happens more or less for no reason. If you inserted something in your ear and then it become clogged I think its safe to assume it is wax.

ok heres the best thing to do, take MUSTARD oil for hair, and boil it on a spoon, when it cools down, have someone pour it into ur ear, and then stick cotton balls on the sides, and then after a day or two, repeat, and then after a week, use a WET q-tip of water and clean it out and WALA!! ear infectsheeon is no more! old pakistani trick heh

Just put a hand towel in some warm/hot water, then lay it on your ear. Thats what I always do.

If it gets really bad, i'll have someone spray warm water in my ear (not hard), but sort of quickly. Then it gets all the crap out of them.

YES, go to the Doctor.

and FYI... they say NEVER to use Q-tips in your ears.... it just pushes the wax back. However - I don't listen to what they say, I just thought I would share.

If there was enough pressure to blow out an eardrum, it would hurt, wouldn't it?

Why not just use a bobby pin to drag the wax out?

Go see a doctor dude... who knows whats going on inside of there. My first guess is a bad ear infection of sorts.

Ear infections involve fungus and bacteria, ear wax isn't an ear infection. Why is everyone so gloom and doom when it comes to bodily functions here.

"I ate a burrito and now I have this pressure in my stomach"

WebMD on earwax. That should help determine if you need to go to the doctor.

ooh ooh, if it's an ear infection, the best way to kill those bacteria is napalm. either that or nanites. take your pick.
