Ok i dont know if i should put this here or not but here goes:
Im having problems with cheating death, this is what i do:
1- i run c-d and wait for it window to show up (it starts minimized)
2- i start steam
3- i start natural selection
4a- if i play in a server that DOESN'T has c-d from time to time a message appears in my screen saying "cheating death is not active server side. This is a inactive or unsecure server" (i think this message is MY c-d fault, it makes it appear so i can know that server doesn't has c-d)
4b- if i enter a c-d required server, i get kicked a after 1 min or so of gameplay (i open the console and it says " you need c-d to play on this server, download cheating death from ......)
5- i minimize steam and i come to close the c-d (wich is still running ) and i get this message: "A game that requires c-d is still runnig are u sure u want to shut it down?"

For 5, you must close games first, wait a minute, then shutdown CD.

Probably you just need to update CD
and if it don't work, well, just find a good server with good admins, and no more problems with CD <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
