    These stories are so much better than the namby pamby american ones.

    They also give lots of photochopping opportunities.

    The whole German literature (including literature for children) is awesome, in my opinion.

    Ah yes, Wilhelm Busch. I wouldn't be surprised to have the police finding some of his stuff among the favorites of the next school-shooter...

    I'll have to disagree with Obst and Philit here - a big amount of classic German literature is, frankly, tosh. Try reading a random work from Eichendorff, Gryphius, Brentano, or Karoline Günderode (does my dislike for romantic literature show?) and then tell me I'm wrong. That said, I love many of the more realistic German authors, such as Büchner, Tucholsky, Brecht, Goethe (mostly his early works, though), or Lessing.

    Yeah, the course isn't bad. We're doing Kafka next. I can't wait. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
