I'm terrified of Canadians. What with their low medicine costs, it's obvious they're all buying steroids to pump themsleves up. One day soon, the US will be invaded by none other than...

BURLY CANADIANS. Chaos will ensue. The US, with it's 60% obese population, won't stand a chance. I prepare for this day, with fear in my heart. THEY ARE COMING.

Seriously though, I admire this movie because it was thought-provoking. Not VERY thought provoking, but at least it made an effort. Would you rather have the cinemas full of movies like "A Cinderella Story" and "I, Ro-BUYAPEPSIANDSOMESHOESANDSOMEFOODANDACAR-bot"? Your money would be better spent on another viewing of Spiderman 2. I'm gonna go see Harold and Kumar go to White Castle, only becasue I have a soft spot in my heart for stoner movies. Dude, Where's my Car? Actually warmed my heart. I've been thinking of tearing said heart out, but I figured that might prove a small problem, so I decided not to let anything happen to my heart.

    So tired.

You know, that actually sounds like a good premise. You could actually do something with that - but considering Signs I'm sure this movie sucks in plot and acting (okay, Mel Gibson wasn't terrible - but generally everything about that movie was).

Reminds me of an idea for a story I had a few years ago.

[probably some mediocre spoiler stuff going on in this sentence:]
Someone tell me what the creatures are supposed to be and what's under the floorboards!

The creatures are costumes in which the elders dress at night to scare with which to scare the town. This keeps the town close knit, and away from the woods wherein lies the secret of the village. The elders hide the costumes in various places - including the floorboards.

Scinet, of what does that picture remind you?

I almost demanded my 6.50$ticket and 4.00$ coke money back from the movie theatre.... It was just boring.

I just saw it and right after I saw it, I thought it sucked because I was mad. But now when I think about it....I liked it.

    I give it 7/10

Even so the vision of a utopia was really poor, kids are getting sick and dying, people get hurt and there is no way to save them, no indoor plumbing

WHAT A GREAT UTOPIA SIGN ME UP!

I'd rather deal with evil people on a daily basis than in the woods, smelly, uneducated, and living in fear 24/7...

It's very The Receiver-esque, is it not?

[edit] Whoa. A series of 5 ninja edits. Must be some sort of a record here. [/edit]

WTH? That's not from SA. That's the actual poster. See IMDB:
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0368447/

    And here's some sound advice:

This makes me want a new photoshop thread very badly. This seems to obvious though. We need chick tracts again, but not chick tracts. You know what I mean.

Nay. We need something more fun and challenging than just caption changing in a comic strip.
