Windows Protection Error

\o/
Yay! I was the next victim of the wonderful BSOD, with the marvelous "Windows Protection Error" written on it, in glittering, golden words.

Well, not really. I got a BSOD with the error and previously, a system restart worked. Now, it's locked there.

I can get into safe mode, but restarting from there doesn't help. Renaming the Win.ini file didn't help either. I'm going to try removing the RAM sticks, to see if one of them got damaged somehow.

I didn't do a thing, only had a crash. And after that, it's BSOD gallery. I'm using WinME, by the way. And if you're going to flame me for using this system (IE. have nothing helpful to say), please frefrain from doing so. I'm going to install XP in the new computer anyway.

And since I'm going to France tomorrow morning, I have a very limited time to figure the things out. Otherwise, it'll be after the vacation. And probably a reformat. >_<
