You're kidding, right..? After 3 days of working on getting this downloaded, you're saying that I have to download a BIGGER file to be able to play? That is crap man... don't you guys just have some damn update file that isnt as big? If I have to download another big **** file, you've just lost a potential member.
If there are any servers that are still running 2.0, please tell me? There are only 2 servers listed on Steam, one is running 3.0, both are empty.
I'd like to point out that I DO have steam. I admit, maybe I should have mentioned that the first time <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

The point I was getting at, is its a horrible ordeal for a 56ker like myself to download such huge files.
P.S. ...please show me some 2.0 servers? <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->

no can do.
If you already have steam and HL installed, then just install the 3 NSP files.
oh, and the list of top played games on steam: <a href='http://www.steampowered.com/status/game_stats.html' target='_blank'>http://www.steampowered.com/status/game_stats.html</a>
you wont find 2.0 on it, there are like 2 servers, possibly.
Are there a lot of 3.0 servers? Probably a dumb question, but dun want to waste my time if there are no servers worth playing on.
Alas, I've decided to have my friend download these for me off his cable connection and burn them for me to install. Which will probably still be faster than 56k.
There's loads of 3 beta4 servers, but no 3 really. The patches up to beta4 are minor really.
When beta5 comes out, it (*should* / will) be on the Steam "Official Game" list, and greyed out. The same way that CZ was advertise.
Although, I doubt NS will sneakily download itself WITHOUT AUTHORISATION onto your PC and then REPEATEDLY TRY TO GET YOU TO PAY FOR IT... muttermutter trojan lawsuit mutter mutter.
But my personal opinions of that asside, welcome to NS, have fun, good luck installing. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> Any problems, and Thansal's desktop should be able to help.
