<div class="IPBDescription">Is there an echo in here...?</div> I need your help!

My computer, all of a sudden (litterly) one day decided to make every single sound echo that it plays. This doesnt include game sounds -unless its a person speaking on the half life mic.- I can deal with it, but it gets really, -really- annoying when you try to listen to things and there is always.. this.. echo..

Can someone please help me?

Have you changed anything? Drivers, new hardware, settings, etc.? (I'm guessing not but it never hurts to ask.)

Try uninstalling and reinstalling your audio device. Just:
    Right-click on My Computer
    > Properties
    > Hardware
    > Device manager
    > Sound, Video & Game controller
    > your sound card
    > Driver
    > uninstall

Then run the "add Hardware wizard."

Tis a bug with EAX, if your on a CL Soundblaster/Audigy goto sound controll (HQ or somthign like that) then EAX then set it to no effects.

Yeah, I get that every once in a while. I see you've got it fixed, but for future reference find the Audio HQ icon (usually in START>Programs>Creative>Soundblaster Audigy) you can set the environment back to default and it's good again. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
