<div class="IPBDescription">MvM map</div> Co_IceCube
co_icecube is a Marine vs Marine map. I wanted it to be a "instant action" map.
Because this is my first map I would be grateful if you could tell me what you think about it.

most of the stuff you see is made of glass, the forts are made of rocks, the whole map is in a "icecube". actually a cube of glass, but it could be ice <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I'd have to disagree. The colors are totally trippy! Having a "realistic" use of textures isn't stated anywhere in the guidelines. I say rename this to ns_BackToTheSixties! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

You're right, how silly of me, I'm sky.
the sky have been complained about, but it is scale 1 to 1. I think it's the glass reflekting on it somehow.

first, have you played this map?
there are no halways on this map, those "hallways" I think you speak about are filled with water.

the big box is for massive JP fights.
but when I'll make a serious map, there will of course be proper lighting.
and did you notice that this was a MvM map?
so BlackPlague what you are going to do now is to find a server that playes this map, and play it 10 vs 10, and then come back and see if you can say again that the map sucks!

Relating to the map, at the moment it kinda hurts my eyes but i haven't downloaded it yet so i can't really say what the map is like. What do the r_speeds
peak at?
And to let you know, saying something is teh sux00r or some crap like that is NOT useful.
I thought this was supposed to be a nice community, not some bashfest. Ugh...just one more reason why I hate mankind...they can be such ****.
You know, not everyone was fond of co_, and others still arn't. Some people hate seige maps, others enjoy them. There are gamers that enjoy the difference of "funmaps," and others that can't stand them. It is just a way of nature, not everyone likes the same things. So why don't we try being constructive and not show how much an **** you truely can be.
Now that I am finished with my rant...
I liked that map. Its a cool change of pace from the norm. Creativity is always a good thing. One thing I did not like is how you are stuck in the CC...uh...cube. I would have some way to get out of there, like if someone was to weld, then go out and attack again. That, and fix the join textures.
Great work so far! Keep using that imagination!

I think the author should use this for a readyroom logo..
and about the join sign, I was thinking that they were kind of a mark, that this was my map, so ppl always would know whos map it was :/ <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->, but I'll remove them in the next version.
