    I wouldn't expect much from a gateway... I've only ever had problems with them.

    Having seen the inside of a Gateway, with so little space its amazing any heat gets out, and the dinky puny little power supplies they give out, that doesn't really suprise me that it overheats mega fast. heh.

    I'm sure there will be a patch though.

    No need! Turned out, he had a few stupid programs going in the background, and its now working just fine.

    Wow, just wow. IT'S A GATEWAY for God's sake. ie - a POS.

    I had one a long time ago, when the first build's of P4 processors came out. PSU burnt out in less then two hours, GG.

    If you have a computer that isn't garbage, expect wonderful things from Doom 3.
