Having Trouble Connecting To Steam.

<div class="IPBDescription">Error message attached</div> Yea, As you can see, My internet connection is working fine. I checked Steampowered.com and could find no news on there being problems with the network.
I've tryed re-installing steam too...

    Steam is messed up atm.

    restart your computer and try again
    lather rinse repeat.

    it will work, you don't have to uninstall/install/reinstall anything.

    You can check out <a href='http://www.steampowered.com/status/status.html' target='_blank'>http://www.steampowered.com/status/status.html</a> to see the health of steam. If you see a large dip in player/servers then its a steam problem.

    I don't know if this isSTILL the case, but it used to be that you couldn't change the content server you were conected to with out a reboot (thus if the content server is down you had to reboot).

    so yah, that msg simply says: Steam is borked, but we don't like saying it is a problem on our side so we will make you think it is your fault <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
