Does Agp Really Matter?

<div class="IPBDescription">Question.</div> Alrighty. My mobo has a agp of 4x, not 8. And I can't afford a new motherboard at the momment, due to the fact if I buy a new mobo I will also have to buy new ram seeing how there isnt any SD ram motherboards with 8x agp. But really does agp matter much?

    Anyway, I'm wondering about this too, because I think my MoBo also has an AGP 4X, and I don't want things like my 9800XT being hampered.

    Not really...If you go to Toms Hardware (I think it was), they would show games compared from 4x/8x and the biggest difference was like .5fps.....

    I think it was when they were reviewing PCI express...
