Search and Rescue does NOT mean it's Counter-Strike. It's called an objective. Perhaps you've heard of them.
It makes sense that marines would have to rescue scientists on a space-station thats being attacked by the Kharra. And, yes, it is like rescuing the hostages in CS. But its not like CS invented the idea of "Get Person/Object A to Location B". If we used that logic, I guess all games are like Counter-Strike, because people have guns in other games, and there are guns in Counter-Strike.
This <i>is</i> a good idea. However, it can't be done without it being made as an official new game mode. You can't create scientists (or any other monster) in multiplayer without mp_monsters set to "1", and that can't be automatically set by the map.
So everyone who says, "Lololpl omg this is teh count striekz wid teh rescu lololololololol!!!!1!!``1!3 9", back off.
