<div class="IPBDescription">Adverse performance or not?</div> I would have asked this in the SP2 pack thread, but it went the way of the dodo. SP2 is offering me what seems to be a decent firewall, and I feel it's high-time I started using one, but my question is will leaving it on have any affect with my gaming performance? As in with it chew up system resources or have a neglible impact?

I doubt it will suck up CPU power but you might ping worse because of it. That's just pure speculation since without a firewall enabled when I download pretty much anything it goes faster.

I seem to be downloading and pinging at my expected speeds, guess there's no harm in leaving it on.
