what really takes up all the polys are the grip, stock, and LAM. cause all the other things are rather low poly. i also welded around 200 vertices that were created with boolean(omg i hate that tool but sometimes comes in handy) i think it is pretty low poly for the ammount of detail(or should i say, things?) it has.
you could make the cover pretty bland on the face of the gun that faces away from the player maybe? i dunno. anyone know how to mesh? I don't even know whwat it is lol.
im gonna make a post in the request forums for a mesher. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd--> why would it not look good? the player doesn't see it... right? why not just delete the faces that the player never sees?
that can be done once the arms are in the mesh and once the origins are set. if you delete something now then when you go and you animate it there is a chance of some of the faces you deleted being shown on the animation.
