Rooms Or whole
Ok, I'm just curious... do most of you make your maps one room at a time... or do you do them all in one BIIIG file?

Cause I've found that doing one room at a time kinda... doesn't work (the doorways never match ect)

i made my map with each room by itself and then when most of the rooms were done put them in to 1 map and get the layout sorted and work out exactly how they were going 2 join up. Thats the part that will really give you grief with leaks.

However now i would build all the rooms in the same map. And the reasion for that is Vis Groups . i didnt know how to use them before but now i do and it makes making changes to a huge map really easy.

Yes, it is possible. Don't have the editor handy so I don't remember all of the commands, but you basically just click the icon next to the visgroup name and click apply. Remember to re-show everything before you go to compile though as I believe it only exports what is currently visible to a .map.

no u dont have to reshow things for them to get sent to the .map. things hidden will still be in your map after compile
