Pts And Lin Files Created, But Are Empty

In attempting to locate a leak, I tried to "Load Pointfile" but was unsuccessful. I then tried to load the LIN file and also drew a blank. I have the 3.5beta installed, so am wondering if there's a setting messed up or something. The PTS and LIN files are being created but both are empty.

As a rule, how thick do you make the walls? I read in a topic here where 16 units was recommended but that seems rather thick.

Problem corrected itself mysteriously, but I still need a recommendation on wall thickness.

It doesn't matter how thick your walls are, I usually go around 16 or 32 units thick (or whatever seems tidy). The point is that it really doesn't matter because it has no effect on the compiled version of your map.
