BattleField 2 is one of the biggest technology games today like Half-Life 2 and Doom3.
<b>In the Beginning :</b>
Lars Gustavsson is Lead Designer For BattleField 2 and is the important of all in the team. When BF1942 was out in the stores then the team started emediatly to work on the game in 2002/2003 and the work was very seriously.
Eyecandy of course is one things in battlefield 2 we gonna see.
It's not only the graphic technlogy what have now better performance but also works better now. The psychics is now better and more different from the BF1942.
And very much work have been added for the new Sound Engine for BattleField2 what gives more real and better atmosphere. By the way its much better now.
<b>All the Same but more Different</b>
What did BF1942 very popular was not only the graphic but also the pshychis functions or the sounds. It was the gameplay : Onlineplay and very good atmosphere did the game a huge hit.
The People who have played BF1942 gonna recognize and in BF2 is all the same but more different with more basic functions. You are starting like allways joining the server and the map comes up. Choosing the Soldier Class and getting off for war.
A new function for BF2 is the new (Squad) function what let u create a mini group and control your soldiers in the battle. U can also comunicate good with the team u have. So a new funtion too let you make the function radio commands better. So in BF1942 all could yell "Medic" and it was Overflow in radio commands. But now its not the same. So they are working on that thing too.
<b>King of the Hill</b>
The New function is very useful Like in Natural-Selection or Savage.
The Commander method what makes u see the battlefield and command.
So its many differents there.
U can be a great medic with the new technolgy what let u upgrade you self if you are healing your teammates then u getting higher level and can buy better guns etc.
The good news is that now u can play 100 or more on a server what was impossible in the old BF1942 only 64 players max.
Then its possible to make your own small squads or something like that.
This makes the gameplay better.
Another new function is Rangers. Shooting down your enemyes u are getting up in skills and lets you open new abilities like new weapons or other uniforms or just much more there.
Yes Dice know what they do in BF2, now it is skills what is important.
New upgrade let you duck in every vechicle so its harder to kill you what was possible in BF1942 version. The vechicles changed the game to the ultimate battlefield using all kind of vechicles what is brilliant.
Thats the point with BF generation.

BattleField 2 is the new glory modern warfare game.
You are fighting in many teams like Coallition and Opposition in the middleeast.
I dont mean we are only gonna fight in baghdad and the Desert. No! wrong there.
BattleField 2 have many real worldmaps like USA, Middleeast, Kina or more.
I think the Fans gonna love BF2 like HALF-LIFE 2 and Doom3 of course.
BF2 allready gives a very good atmosphere what is absolutly Battlefield.
Dice have listened to the fans and what they want and did the game after theys wishes.
Both EA and DICE is really want to release the game in MARS 2005.
So it can sound very scary but no.
We dont know yet the game good but i can see and imaginize that BF2 opens a new generation OF MULTIPLAY.
The Concurenss is hard and everything points on that Dice have time, skills and resources on theyr side. BattleField 2 looks absolutly Amazing.
The team TraumaStudios what created Desert Combat for BF1942 is working now together with Dice. Let us wait and see what the game have to bring us.
