<div class="IPBDescription">Any Harmonica Players?</div> This'll be my 3rd instrument I'm learning(I'm a pretty good classical bassist, and I'm terrible but know what I'm doing with turntables), and so far I'm okay, but I definately need some tips. Anyone play?

Another tip is cupping....cup your ftee hand over the harp if you want to have a mute(like a trombone or trumpet mute) like effect. By opening & closing your hand/mute you wll effect the sound. This is how you can get the CHOO-CHOO effect of a train.
There are two different methods of playing the harmonica/blues harp. The most popular & easiest way is to use your lips to single out notes...the second & what most professional blues harp players use is..the tounge. They use thier tounge to single out notes. Robin Williams uses this method. Using your tounge requires more mouth on the harp so if you do use your tounge you will look like you are eating the harp.
Get a harp in E, D or C as those are the most used keys for harps.
