Well, I compile my map and it says there is a leak, so I load up the .lin file. When I look around, none of the lines go inside of the level, and none go through walls. There is no leak. Everything is air-tight, yet it says there is one. Help me!
If all else fails use the block method. Simply create a block around the suspected area and continue to shrink the box until the leak appears again, then you can narrow it down.
Comments
1) Calm down... deep breath in, deep breath out
2) re-load the .lin file. I know I prefer the .lin over the .pts as it is more concise
3) slowly follow the line around untill you see it enter the map... check from the outside as it may enter a dbl cover area.
4) if you do not find the leak, repeat steps 2-3 with the .pts file
5) if you still can't find the leak... ask a pro mapper. I'm just a newb with a little experience
Hope that helps 0o'
Nice going there.
