any suggestions?
So I'm making my christmas right now, because I am going away to university in a couple weeks and I won't be able to easily get it to my mom later (her idea, not mine. Oh, and don't worry, I'll still be around here, just hailing from an different IP)
So far I have a couple titles, Sims 2, Farcry, Vampire: Bloodlines; and Halflife 2 I'm gonna be buying on release day, so I don't need it on my list. Any ideas for good titles? I like tactics games, FPS (expecially story and horror oreinted, DM less so), RPG's (not MMO, I have no money for mothly fees), and turnbased stratagies, although I am willing to check out other genres.
So, ideas?

And don't buy full-priced games that are only going to be fun for half of it, and never again after that. Just get it wa...ware.... warehouse deals. Just kidding. The games you've gotten should be sufficient, then just buy a couple time-honoured classics like red alert 2, AOE2, starcraft, well you get the idea

I'm not gonna ask for beer for christmas. Jebus people read the topic.
DOOM 3 = already own, Starcraft = already own but will never play again anyways, RA2 = pwnage game but I'm bored of it, AOE = never really even liked this game too slow compared to Starcraft and RA2
for serious, you might want to try out Full Spectrum Warrior, if it comes out on PC in time.
Far Cry?
a Tom Clancy game?
Ground Control 2... if that came out yet
EDIT: Replaced nice with sweet to sound less like a soccermom.

I found the GCII demo compleatly and utterly boring... I don't mind RTS, but I like them to move faster than that. I even found RA2 a little slow for my liking... Starcraft is the only RTS I can think of that is paced properly.

I loved that game, its a little too old though (as in my mom would never be able to find it because the future shop won't stock it anymore)
It's changed developer hands twice now (and been cancelled thrice). Saw it at E3 and it dissapoints in all ways possible.
Evil Genious looks pretty cool if you enjoy Dungeon Keeperish stuff. Burnout 3. Timesplitters 3.
Thats next year's list
