Help With Doom 1 And Doom 2
I just got a new computer, and I decided to install Doom 1 and Doom 2 onto it (don't ask why, I will be installing Doom 3 soon). This is from the original disks.
With Doom 1, I want to change it to wasd configuration. I found the config file easily enough, but I don't know what to change the values to.
<!--c1--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>CODE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='CODE'><!--ec1-->
key_right 77
key_left 75
key_up 72
key_down 80
key_strafeleft 51
key_straferight 52
key_fire 29
key_use 57
key_strafe 56
key_speed 54<!--c2--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--ec2-->
That is what is actually in the config file (the part I want to be able to change, anyway).
With Doom 2, I have a different problem. There is a menu that makes it simple enough to change the keyboard commands, and another tab for the mouse commands. There is a box that says "Enable Mouse Support". However, the mouse does not work, and it hasn't worked on any Windows XP computer that I have tried it on.
Can anyone help me with either of these?

But for vanilla, yeah, there should be a setup utility in the main directory.

I prefer jDOOM over Legacy for multiplayer, so you can alt-tab back and forth quickly to see if someone is connecting to your server. I can't seem to find the option for windowed mode on Legacy, so it makes it that much more annoying to try and start up some servers.
Is Microsoft generous?
Guess I'll just have to stick to playing quake. Mwuahah
