No getting valve

<div class="IPBDescription">Heeeeeeelp</div>everytime i try to play ANY mod i cant login to VALVe u know the first server thing...it will do another one but filters dont work on that one can anyone help?

delete halflife and all mods, reinstall and retype in ur key correctly. it may be a hastle, but it will fix it, especially if ur on dialup

my key is typed in correctly......it worked until after the first game i played of NS....i got booted and then this happened...

i did that along time ago...i am using start menu it just wont connect to valves IP

try getting rid of programs running in the background with ctrl-alt-delete and see if that helps. worked for me <img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

run msconfig to turn them of completely.
