Making Comics

How-to.
I was just wondering after reading Hell in Pretty Colors, how would I go about making a comic that looks like that? I have images I want to use in a comic of my own, and I have the comic font, but how do I actually go about creating them? Do I need PhotoShop or something?

Ok, i think there are preset speach bubbles in photoshop cs, well there are in mine anyway. As for moving people into the images thats just erasing the background from around the people in photoshop then pasting them into a new image

It's just a matter of Copy/Paste in any Graphical Design Program, like PhotoShop.

screenshots + filters + laying out. You can do it in practically any imaging software (yes, even paint, though that will likely look exuberantly craptastic)

I believe it'a main filter is called "paintbrush over entire image by waving the mouse around like a moron" I use it all the time. It's not as cool as lense flares though. You gotta have lense flares.
