Hi when i attempt to play some demos i find that they crash and give me this error in windows now this could be either valve or ns related so im sending this information to both parties to find out what the cause of the error message is.

Error Message:
Application popup: Natural Selection (beta): hl.exe - Application Error : The instruction at "0x4a28a292" referenced memory at "0x00eb8f20". The memory could not be "written".

Click on OK to terminate the program

Thats the error message i got and i extracted it from the event viewer on my operating system. The event ID for this error is 26.

Operating System:
Windows 2000 Professional build 2195 SP4

System Specifications:
CPU - p4 3.2ghz
RAM - 512mb ddr dual-channel
VIDEOCARD - Radeon 9600 XT 256 mb
HDD - 2x 80 gig sata not in raid

I checked the Microsoft Technet Resource and my error is in there database but the error message isn't.

Do you get error in every single demo (including the ones you recorded) or just the specific ones... Try playing a demo you recorded in a Lan game you created...
