<div class="IPBDescription">should some people loose there Icon....</div> A lot of people have played the -pGc- server ... a lot of Vets.... Clanies... Beta Testers... and even Flayra has blessed us with his presence. and while there most of them behave themselves and have a good time. there are a few trouble makers..... and sad enough most of the trouble makers are Vets.
Now I know most of them are just mad that we make them run cheating death (and the only reason we do that is to prove to the Nubcakes they aren’t cheating), and some of them are mad because we kick people for obvious scripting or abusive language (I hate scripters with the fire of a thousand suns, but that is another story, and as for the language .... well we allow everything but racial slurs and bashing our clan <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> ), but some of them ... find is necessary to put down others for not being as good as them..
Now I'm gonna single out someone here and Im ready to get flamed for it <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> ... cri.sco was on our server tonight.... and after one round where he switched teams and stacked it 8 aliens to 6 marines (aliens where already winning) and he refused to switch.... and the next round where he went Rambo and Me and a clanmate pwned his team and destroyed the Commchair .... he proceeded to bash our clan stating "man you guys suck" ..."how are you even a clan" ...... ( I was 11 and 2 and my friend was 7 and 1)
Whenever face visits us he behaves himself and plays the game without incident, I have no problem with cri. ..... and I don’t really know sco (so he could have been kidding or in a bad mood) .... but there have been too many occasions where vets have been total jerks towards new players and other clans.
People often ask myself and Prodigy why we aren’t vets, jokingly we respond because we don’t script.... then we explain that we didn’t compete in CAL, and our brief stay in UGL was less than impressive... And I have seen people out there that have been active in NS since day one just as we where .... but because we view the league system as flawed and choose not to compete, we are considered lesser players....
I think there needs to be some more thought into who gets this special recognition.... simply being there shouldn’t single them out.... they should have to show some Class as well as skill....

The talented and (mostly) mature Vets were transferred over to the Playtester program.
Also, in B5, mp_blockscripts should be working and enabled, allowing server-ops who dislike scripters to remove that capability, returning skill to individual dexterity and speed, rather than a sequenced keybind.
Short version, you're the admin of your server. Run it as you see fit, communicate directly with a problem clan. Please do not air your dirty laundry on these forums; that is not their purpose.
