D3d Mode

<div class="IPBDescription">Can't play in D3d mode anymore...</div> I've been playing NS for about 2 weeks and and think it rocks. My crappy rig can only adequetly run NS in D3D mode for whatever reason and I've done so for 2 weeks without trouble, but today when I started up NS it said it couldn't run in D3D mode and forced me into Opengl mode or Software mode. (each with ungodly framerates.) Does anyone know what could ruin my D3D mode or how I can get it back? thx.

When it says that the selected video mode is not supported, click cancel then open up NS again and select D3d as your renderer. Sometimes you have to do it twice. Make sure you don't have -d3d in your Half-Life or NS shortcut.

Thanks for the quick response but i just figured it out. Until recently I've been running in 16 bit mode on my desktop. I guess NS didn't like it when i changed to 32 bit. It's fixed now. Thanks again.
