Windows Media Player 9 Problem

<div class="IPBDescription">1 FPS</div> I have recently started having a problem with WMP 9 on my machine. Any time I try to play a video, I only get 1-2 Frames per second, while the sound plays normally. This applies to any format of video, and affects them whether I'm pulling them off my HD or the internet. I have downloaded a fresh copy of WMP 9 from Microsoft, yet a reinstall did nothing.

Quite frankly I'm puzzled - this didn't happen 24 hours ago, and since then I haven't DLed anything I haven't downloaded before.

Anyone know what could be causing this?

This is <b>Winblows</b> media player you're talking about. I think that's the cause right there. Try WMP10... might work. Never had this particular problem, so I dunno what could be causing it aside from windows screwing up yet again.

Remove and reinstall any video codecs. Do not install the Nimo codec pack.
