Your commander, your teammates, and you.

<div class="IPBDescription">Open letter to all new frontiersmen.</div>I thought I would write this, because not many people know how to talk to their commander properly, nor do they know how to play marines properly. Here are some tips.

1) If you are not by an Armory, you cannot get any new weapons or armor. I cannot drop an HMG for you in the field, so don't ask me to. Chances are, the marine base is the only place for you to get hooked up with weapons.

2) If you are all alone, and asking for ammo or health, I will completely ignore you. Why? It's because I am busy watching the major offensive going on at the other end of the map. I'm giving them health and armor. I don't have time to hunt you down and give you ammo.

3) If you do need ammo or health, do not ask me for it over the mic. Do not ask for it through text. Use Right-click. Then you can select "Yell" and "I need ammo.". That is the easiest way for me to find you, and give you what you need.

4) Stay with your friends. You will love longer, and you WILL get ammo, health and other commander support.

5) If you are at base, armed with only a LMG, say through TEXT: Need weapons at base. Then I will realize that "Hey, I have new infantry in. I'll go hook them up with guns."

6) You may occasionally find yourself an odd weapon, that doesn't really have ammo, or shoot anything... that's called a welder. Why did I give it to you? To weld stuff. What can you weld? Your friends. After a fight, weld your buddies. It fixes their armor. Neat!

7) Don't blindly rush ahead, even if you're with a group. If we take over a hive, wait around for a bit. Chances are, I'm going to drop some turrets to hold that biatch. That, and health and ammo. Stay and build the turrets, get your armor fixed, then move when ordered.

If we all follow these simple rules, we can easily defeat the alien threat.

Luck and Victory to us all!
