I think the're fixed, but they just want to fix as many bugs as possible, and make the game as balanced as possible (I.E. making the gorge spit do an extra 5 damage, and raising gorge health to 150/50).
Yeah its true, we badly need an update. But its not gonna help if you whine all day. It was tried, it didn't work at all. Knockback is in there for a reason. The bugged across-the-room knockback is being removed for beta 5, and ordinary knockback may or may not be changed to push marines straight back.
You know i figure not say anything about this next patch. It'll come out when it comes out and if I complain about it not being out soon enough, then it'll just be more delayed...

The super-air-knockback was the only knockback that actually made a gameplay difference, ain't it fun clipping on a skulk that's biting you and going nowhere when you're SUPPOSED to fly away a bit? But it's not like you ever fly away far enough to recover from the disorientation of being bit to actually line up a shot. Guys, waiting only means good things, and while I'm not a PT, I can tell from talking to a few folks that frankly, NS is looking more and more incredible every time these guys try it. B5 probably won't be the final release, but for all we know- 3.0 final may be the game Flayra has always wanted.
