Combine all images in the sequence onto one large canvas, and generate the palette from that. The resulting palette will be compatible with all images in the sequence.

So, for example, if you have a sequence of four images (A, B, C, and D), copy all four images onto one large image, and then use the large image to create the palette. Save the palette, then load the palette to each of the four images.

Mine took longer, but it should be (nearly) lossless, color-wise. On top of that, it's already properly configured for compilation.

Is there any way to do this without taking a million years in the process? Getting the same palette for the entire series of spore and building sprites is ridiculous.

Doing this in photoshop is PAINFUL. Automating is the only way to go about it without losing my sanity.

Use the method I describe above. This step should only take two or three minutes at most, if you're handy with keyboard shortcuts.

Once you've got the "composite" palette, set up a macro to apply the palette to all the original images. Setting up the macro should take about 20 seconds, the application process will take about five. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
